brand integrations are added regularly — talk to our team about your
specific inverter.
Yes. Jio SunGenie is designed as a retrofit-first solution. The IoT Gateway
plugs into your existing inverter’s RS-485 (or RJ45) interface without
any rip-and-replace. Most installations are live in under an hour.
The device uses Jio LTE-CAT1 cellular connectivity with a pre-provisioned M2M
e-SIM. It supports up to 100 secure concurrent connections,
TCP/HTTP/HTTPS/MQTT/LWM2M protocols, and uses TLS 1.2 with Secure Boot for
security. A 30-minute in-built battery backup keeps the device online during
power interruptions.
Both. Jio SunGenie is built to scale from 1kW residential rooftops to 100MW+
utility-scale plants. The platform supports strings, MPPTs, SMBs, inverters,
transformers, switches, relays, WMS, and energy meters — and integrates
with SCADA OPC-UA for utility deployments.
Jio SunGenie delivers panel-to-plant insights including real-time generation,
performance ratio (PR) tracking, capacity utilization factor (CUF), block-wise
and inverter-wise efficiency benchmarking, energy flow analysis, environmental
impact (carbon savings), and T&D charges and losses calculations. Custom
reports are exportable for board, lender, regulator, and O&M reviews.
Jio SunGenie follows a subscription-based model. The IoT Gateway is a
one-time hardware cost; the cloud platform, True Power app access, and
O&M dashboard are available under monthly or annual plans. Volume
pricing is available for channel partners and large fleet operators — reach
